This was what the crowds looked like in the 90s. I remember just walking into the stadium to watch Tommie Frazier and his teams play. I think toward the end of Frazier's time admission was $2, or a can of food.

I think if you would ask Nebraska fans what they would want to see in a spring game, I think most of them would say just put the ball in the turf and go play some football. Doesn't matter if its 1's vs 2's or 3rd team vs 4th team in the second half -
Just. Play. Football. It doesn't need to be a circus.
