When what I said was just a statement. Neither negative or positive. Just speaking my mind. And most of the people who know me here know that most of my posts are in support of the coaching staff. So yeah, he was trying to get a reaction out of me. Just like he was the night before.
Maybe I don't get the context here.
Nebraska scored a commit, and you posted worrying that we were a placeholder. This seems like a reasonable thing to post. It also seems reasonable to respond with
"Hey, have some optimism here." We tend to gloomy outlooks sometimes about our football fortunes.
I did not get the impression that he was having it out with you, or that you were being singularly accused of always being negative. I don't at all have this impression of you, in recruiting or anything else.
Even if you were told that you are always on the pessimistic side, I do not see how that was meant to elicit a fight. If Matty's going after you repeatedly, we'll tell him he needs to knock it off as well.
That wasn't the first warning I handed out for an "STFU", and it won't be the last. Don't try to look for places where this "should be" allowed, because it won't be. Hope this makes sense. But we need those posts brought to our attention, like the one you posted here. Thanks.
