One thing just occured to me:

Is Frost unwilling to bench Martinez because his offensive system is complex and centered heavily around the QB?

If that's true, could that be the issues with many of our close losses? Maybe we need an offensive system designed more around the O-line and running back.

You have seen the staff admit they know they need better passers rather than just pure athletes at QB in how they've recruited the last couple classes.

But it's freaking Year 4. If they can't adapt their offense to the talent they have and make it work, it's super damning and they're not very good coaches.

AM would have launched that into row 8 or been picked by the underneath man.    Amazing how much his lack of arm talent shows while watching other QB's

That was a weird defense on the TD.

It looked like CTB was trailing Bell in man coverage and everyone else was in zone. Clearly it opened up a huge gap in the back of the endzone.

Interesting call by Chins.

So martinez throws a pick 6. Throws another INT that ends in a Purdue score. But man will he have other awesome stats on paper. Something like 25/31 250 yards 1 TD, 50 rushing yards.

Completely agree.

If they can't or won't even be willing to bench their starting QB - even for just one series - then that is super damning on all of them as a coaching staff.
