That is an amazing stat.   The guy can't have it both ways - the greatest ever when the market rises but crickets and actually deception/lies  when the market falls.     The market under trump really seems to mimic his unpredictable personality.  When you have a 'very unstable dufus' in the WH whose actions are unpredictable. that in itself creates uncertainty.  The market see the broad issues but it also sees who is managing the response as well.

Yeah, pretty much.  The market freaks out when things are not predictable.  I wonder how it will look the night of the election.  

 
How much you want to bet part of Trump's failure to adequately wrestle with this so far has to do with the fact it appears to be breaking out on the Left Coast with all the dirty libruls who despise him?

I'd put a few jellybeans on a more urgent response if this was happening in real America. Unfortunately, for Trump, CA, OR and WA are not that.

Knapp's post above notes the horrors of having incompetence in control and one who is concerned more about self then the nation. We've seen that pattern over and over again in this administration.  Self interest over country interest.  It was the heart of the impeachment issue and it rises its ugly heard here in this potential '911' type crisis.
