  So now he is making light of the pandemic - thinking once again that down playing it will help his election.  He is despicable.

President Donald Trump said the coronavirus pandemic is “going away,” as the U.S. continues to see tens of thousands of new daily cases and recorded 1,380 deaths on Tuesday.

“This thing’s going away. It will go away like things go away,” Trump said Wednesday morning in a telephone interview with Fox News. He said the U.S. is in “very good shape” while touting economic indicators.
 
Trump also reiterated his push for schools to reopen, saying inaccurately that children are “almost immune” to the virus but that “the teachers are a different story.” He recommended that older teachers not return to work until the pandemic passes.

“This is a terrible thing that China sent us,” Trump said.

In June, at least 260 campers and staffers at a sleepaway camp in Georgia tested positive for the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned the incident showed Covid-19 “spread efficiently in a youth-centric overnight setting,” a finding that could have implications for school reopenings. The CDC said the camp followed some, but not all, of its mitigation recommendations.

Trump has regularly flipped back and forth between taking the virus seriously in his public remarks and predicting it will disappear. Trump has also touted the potential for a vaccine, and reiterated Wednesday that he believes one will be available by the end of the year.

This is extremely messed up but my first thought is why does the dude care so much? This just goes to show how toxic the culture war is. This is the same type of guy who would tell you to mind your own business about anything he was doing. Why in TF does he care about what some random child at a restaurant is doing? Mind your own damn business and don't tread on that child. The hypocrisy is mindblowing

My mom tells me the same cousin I deleted from FB who posted about the Robert E. Lee statue has now vowed to never shop at Walmart again because they require masks. It's hilarious that that is the reason someone would boycott Walmart. She loves Trump so I'd think she'd care more about buying Chinese products.

Wonder where she is shopping now that meets her no mask purity test. 10$ says in a years time she'll be at Walmart once a week like before. 5$ on she never stopped shopping at Walmart but rather just posted about in on Facebook. I feel like the made in China thing has always been one people like to moan about but actually take no action on even before Trump.

I think the GOP couldn’t care less about outsourcing ever and the DNC probably not much either. Actually some of Trump’s overall mindset about it I’ve agreed with but he’s 30 years too late and his methods are idiotic.
