I'm 99.9% sure that the Senate passed the bill 100-0, and Trump threatened to not sign it because it didn't fund "the wall".  This threat was based on comments from Rush and other far-right outlets who called it a bad deal.  Then, Ryan said he didn't want to pass anything in the House that the President wouldn't sign.  

The shutdown started with a Republican Senate, Republican House, and a Republican President.  That's just nuts!

And a wall will never stop this type of activity. Its so stupid. Know what always beats a wall? A driver with proper documentation in a vehicle at a port of entry. I'd venture to guess 99% of the drugs coming across the southern border would not be the least bit deterred by a wall. Planes, trains and automobiles(and boats) > steel slats.

 
How many of those then turned themselves in to US authorities, which happens a lot? How many would have gone through the regular entry process if ours wasn't so back logged and messed up? How many would have easily gotten passed a wall?

Building a wall doesn't necessarily help the situation.

No kidding!  I'm assuming Crenshaw saw this (if he actually saw anything) on his visit to the border and was being hosted by Border Patrol agents and other officials.  Is he telling us that they watched 1000 people cross and no one did anything?  Sounds like we either need "more" Border Patrol or fire the ones in his entourage.

The Dems need to get out there with that message, now, flood the media with their border security proposals. 

Their biggest problem is they don't grasp how to use the media like Trump does, so they fail up front by not controlling the discussion.
