I have spoken with a couple of the national recruiting guys at one of the recruiting services about Braden Smith's recruitment. His dad is the person that is in charge. Everything goes through him. Texas A&M and TCU have always been at the top. Before he took the trip to Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame, it was hinted at that Notre Dame was the only team of those three that would make it high on his list. His dad views Notre Dame as being more historic than any other program in the country. He wants his child to play at a place like Notre Dame. The draw to Texas A&M and TCU is family and the new sexy SEC team. His dad respect's Nebraska, but doesn't put them in the same class as Notre Dame.
His dad wants him to go to a big name program so he can brag about his child.
Some people that know that family have said that his dad is actually the person that will make the final choice of where his son attends.
Braden doesn't have that great of a reputation with the national recruiting experts at 247Sports. They continue to rate him high, but took him down to the 4-star level. One of their national guys traveled to watch Braden in person and came away very disappointed. He got beat repeatedly and plays soft. The guy that watched him doubts he will be a road grader at the next level. His arms arm very short as well and has already lost flexibility because of the size of his biceps....too big at too young of an age.
Personally, I don't want Braden to be apart of this class. We need guys with long arms and a thicker body.
Please do not post the information in the forum. I always stay away from posting negative views of the prospects.

We've had this talk about posting PMs for everyone to see before. It wasn't cool then and it's not cool now. That's a personal opinion.

Will you idiots stop going after him in the regular forums? What is the problem here? Did you not read the post I copied over from the Derp Purge thread? Did you not see where I said to NOT put this crap in the regular forums?
We have a rule against personal attacks at HuskerBoard. Every single one of you know about it. You know what the Shed is for and you use it frequently. So why do I see THIS THREAD in the condition it's in?
Why do I see multiple personal attacks against wifi in the regular forums? Why have none of his posts or threads been reported in the past 24 hours?
I get that you don't like him. He's different and odd and pompous and a blowhard, and he doesn't do any of it in a cool way. But that does not mean the rules get suspended because this guy annoys you.
Imma make you all an offer you can't refuse. Leave the guy alone if you don't like him. Don't post in his threads if you don't like his threads. Use the Ignore function on his posts if he's really under your skin. But don't take what we talk about in this thread onto the regular forums.

Now that we've cleared that up. I'm putting the brakes on this guy for a while. He will still be able to post, but I'll have to approve them all before they go out. I won't do this very long, because he hasn't broken any rules, but know this - if you see a post from wifi in the next few days, I've approved it (or another Mod has) and there will be NO shenanigans on them.

So now that I've probably pissed everyone on the board but wifi off with this post ^^^, now I've pissed of wifi, too. He keeps posting this Status Update, and I keep taking it down:
