My understanding is that while being held down and shielded by the Secret Service, it was Trump who insisted on standing back up to give the defiant photo op. This might add fuel to the Staged Theory, but it might also suggest Trump was genuinely fearless and aware of the moment. The photo was pure gold.
Looks like that's pretty much what happened, but they didn't try to move Trump until they confirmed the shooter was down.
Moments after he was shot at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, former President Donald Trump was seen with blood on his ear and cheek as he was rushed off the stage.
Audio reveals how the
chaotic scene played out from the view of Trump and those involved in getting him to safety.
Trump was in the middle of speaking when several shots rang out. He clasps his ear and ducks as Secret Service agents surround him. “Get down, get down, get down,” one says. Another shot sounds and a woman screams.
