UCLA Post-Game Pressers

That's a f#&%ing terrible answer and I like Matt. You don't take a 2-5 team to the 4th quarter. You figure your s#!t out down 10nor 13 and then stomp on the gas and blow them out. tOSU does this regularly.

I was literally thinking near the end of the 3rd quarter that they haven't built this team to do what needs to be done right now. They want to slow play and drag everything out. We thought last year it was because we didn't have the athletes, but now we do and it's the same thing. This isn't a winning formula unless he can some how recruit all 4 and 5 star guys and a kicker. We need an explosive offense right now, but all we have is a firecracker that's been thrown underwater.

Rhule has no answers because he is lost. Any HC who refuses to acknowledge that we have no special teams and our offense is bad given we have a 5 star recruit as QB, is delusional. Rhule is not a good coach. For those who keep insisting that a coach needs time, wake up and smell the roses. Cignetti is blowing out teams in his first year with inferior talent and his backup QB. A good coach understands his talent, draws a good game plan, and beats a 2-5 team at home. You don’t treat a 2-5 team like they are Ohio State and you hope you can make more plays than them in the 4th. That is pathetic.

I kinda cringed a week or 2 ago when he was talking about how college is like the nfl now and teams will lose 3-4 games a year. I was like dude stop making excuses for the 3-4 games a year he plans to lose. The best teams every year lose between 0-2. Teams that are competing for a natty I mean.

I know records aren’t everything but wanting to get to the 4th quarter against a 2-5 team and “make more plays” is wild. Does Rhule understand you can just blow an inferior opponent out?
I’m tired of hearing this 2-5 thing against ucla, their 5 losses were to

1 Oregon, 3 Penn st, 16 lsu and 13 Indiana ranked wise with a close one against Minnesota. If we had uclas schedule we’d prolly be 3-6 right now at best.

that being said, I’m even more tired of this coaching staff transfixed on the 4th quarter. How about the other 45 mins of the game where for the most part our offense looked like s#!t.  Still not a single game this year where our offense looked like it knew what it was doing for 60 minutes. and even with the 4th, we largely looked like s#!t

Where is the accountability

Agreed about UCLA's schedule, they're better than 3-5. We on the other hand have beaten maybe the worst FBS team in 1-8 UTEP, a 2-7 FCS team in Northern Iowa, Colorado (by far our best win), and the two worst teams in the B1G standings.  We are a bad football team.

5-1 was fool's gold just like 7-0 in 2016.

His answer is one of the stupidest answers I’ve ever heard at a press conference.
its so ideal outcome driven... yah, any team wants to win it in the 4th.   how bout we hear some honest thoughts about y we have no pulse offensively.  lets hear some thoughts as to why the defense is incapable of getting off the field in the first half.  Until we actually start correcting clear deficiencies in how this team shows up and plays we will continue to be sold on an ideal outcome and be sold a dream without it ever becoming reality
