What did we learn Indiana edition

Indiana is pretty good. To beat them will be a track meet or them on an off game. While they haven’t been truly challenged, they’ve earned everything said about them and Rhule wasn’t blowing smoke saying they’re a T10 caliber.

Raiola is not being coached hard enough. The entire offense is a mess. I will have no expectations until Satterfield is gone.

Secondary needs big improvement, I think more so that soft coverage is such bull honky.

Imagine if Frost had a cute little documentary series about chasing 3 points lol

1. Tony White is way overrated. Our defense has stunk against the only decent teams we have faced this year. In fact, the defense has regressed from last season and we still have many tough opponents left.

2. Foley should have been fired 2 games ago. The inability to make field goals or receive kick offs carries over into all facets of the game. How much pressure must the offense feel knowing its a TD or bust every possession.

3.  Satterfield needs replaced. This O is not dynamic despite more skilled players. Raiola has regressed from the start of the season and I wonder if he will look to transfer.

4. Rhule is halfway through Year 2 and its apparent Nebraska will not see a breakthrough improvement in wins in Year 2 like he did at Temple and Baylor. This feels more like Carolina Panther Rhule and if we continue to underperform, he will be on the hot seat to start Year 3. Seeing Cignetti do so well in his first year won't help Rhules cause.

5. Given how bad we are doing today, we should only be able to look up for next weeks game vs OSU.

Been saying that for weeks!  LBs are awful and need better talent at oline & wr

This is yr 2, not 4
Why are other programs able to 'fix' it fast than Nebraska?

We can keep saying we aint there yet and that it is only year 2 until we are blue in the face. The fact of the matter is, this program seems to be regressing from the Colorado game and it is a fast fall.

Penalty trying to 1 on 1 block from a 3rd string WR.

At least we know McGuire isn't coaching any of them vs favoring his bench players

Lol, we brought in a coach that was in the pros.  Indiana coach came with 17 players from the sun belt champs.

This!!!! I 💯 can’t figure it out! How can all these other programs seem to do it, but not Nebraska. Our offense is night and day different than other college football you watch. It’s brutal and I’m at a loss….

Raiola coming back to a 6-6 team seems impossible.
We can fire multiple coaches, and we still retain Rhule who believed Jeff Simms was a Sunday guy.

If we lose Raiola, who is regressing, because he isn't coached well...what competency does Rhule have to evaluate and develop anyone?

I’ll get pushback for this but this loss is 90% on foley. Us not taking the 3, twice within the redzone in the first 15 mins of this game, sank us. We have no confidence on basic field goal kicks. Game should’ve been 14-6 at worst early on and instead it snowballed.

we are not good enough to make up for being subpar in one of the 3 facets of the game. We are completely non existent in special teams and it sank the whole squad today

we can still be 8-4 but is sure as hell won’t happen if we show up like we did today
