What did we learn

Somehow (I'm really not sure how) I overlooked that we did not turn the ball over. It's huge if we keep the TO margin positive.

Our ST still needs a lot of work. It's sad we got 2 new PK and we still can't kick.

I learned that if the sole purpose for coaching at CU is to get your kid into the NFL that you should attempt a 59 yard field goal as time expires in the first half with the backup kicker, down four scores to pull within.....four scores.  Can't take a chance of your kid getting rocked.

Take that win any day. Would like to have seen the offense better in the 2nd half, but the so called penalties killed them. The defense was solid. Did what they needed to do. No turnovers was big. Alvano needs to figure it out still. Just keep building. Got things to work on, but much better to learn from a win than a loss.

Fidone laid the wood on some of his blocks which was great to see.

Dowdell has the potential to be very good.

D is legit (what happened to Nash, was he injured)

Bullock played great

No idea why the fall off from the 1st to the 2nd half with the O.  Satt?  Limited OL depth?

Rhule was not pleased with the O in the 2nd half.

Shedeuer was more than happy to show his watch in Boulder, but just showed his a$$ leaving the field early.

Refs were horrible.

Announcers were horrible.

team needs to get that killer mentality. Play to win. Don't play to not lose. I think this is Satts mentality.

It was a win, painful 2nd half, but a win.  Perhaps we break the top 25.

1st time 2-0 since 2016....SMH.  Let's go bowling would be huge this year

Enjoy the win tonite, but flush and forget.  Get ready to 1-0 next week.

The biggest learning is the improvement over last year.  When we played CU last year I had zero confidence we would win and I was right. This year I picked us to win close and we handled business well. To go from we had zero shot last year to winning all phases of the game and controlling the game this year was really encouraging to see.   :restore

Every team we play will continue to use the same defensive plan that our opponents have used for the previous seven years: sell out to stop the run and bring at a minimum a soft blitz all game.

I really do believe that Rhule & Satterfield will continue to figure out how to punish this.

If Barney stays healthy you can pretty much guarantee he'll be playing a major role in this effort. We have the talent, we just need a couple tweaks to the system.

I learned Shadeur lost some pro money tonight.   He has talent, but so does everyone in the NFL.   He plays for himself too much, takes too many sacks instead of throwing the ball away.

Colorado is a bad team with a few talented players.

NU played way to conservative the second half and I would have liked to seen more first down play action.

the Oline needs to get much better in consistent pas pro

Im glad we got Rhule.  And will be sad when Tony leaves after this year.
