What did we learn

This guys is an Oklahoma writer.  They were playing at the same time Nebraska was.  But he could have been tweeting about either team.

I actually thought Colorado had some speed on defense. They covered well.

Our fans are over here saying our receivers were the problem with not getting separation. We'll see as the season goes on, but I think we're going to find ways to move the ball.

I want to see more of Lloyd & Barney and less of the fullback/two tight end stuff. I really do. Open it up a bit more. But I get it, the solid pass protection and chip blocking stuff is good to get Raiola warmed up to the speed of the college game.

We do have weapons. Rhule will absolutely figure out how to best utilize them.
We forget Travis Hunter is a legit top 5 pick at CB

I hope everyone from the board who went to the game hard the rowdiest time ever.

and I would love to see some video of the 4th quarter light show. I heard it was spectacular.

I learned Shadeur lost some pro money tonight.   He has talent, but so does everyone in the NFL.   He plays for himself too much, takes too many sacks instead of throwing the ball away.

Colorado is a bad team with a few talented players.

NU played way to conservative the second half and I would have liked to seen more first down play action.

the Oline needs to get much better in consistent pas pro

Im glad we got Rhule.  And will be sad when Tony leaves after this year.
I’m curious why everyone thinks Tony will leave after this year.  If your team is winning wouldn’t you stay? Or are you thinking he will leave Nebraska for a Head Coaching position? That’s would be good for him but awful for us.

He got head coach offers after the 2023 season. He'll get more and better ones after 2024. He was apparently a finalist for the UCLA job.
