What did we learn

It’s still early, but I think we have a “pretty good team.” Probably a top 30-35 team in the country.

We have a really good defense and a decent offense. We don’t have a cutthroat personality. We need to learn how to be in the lead and them stomp the other team.

Our OL is probably our biggest weakness still. There were lots of plays where they got close to Raiola and Colorado isn’t the best D we’ll face.

I need to remind myself (and others) that none of these players other than some transfers have ever been on a college football team with a winning season. I’m okay with them winning games and learning to dominate them.

That announcing crew was awful and unknowledgeable, and that was the worse refereeing I’ve ever seen in any game.
Second worst

Ok 3rd post about it.  I was a captain in HS and in college...We could have been just getting killed and I would have never just left my team.  How someone who claims their kids are leaders allows that just irks the living hell out of me.  I would never leave my team out there because we were losing, I tore my ACL and I was out there that game in crutches in pain but I was there.  Sanders is a fraud at this point, he allowed that crap.  I thought Deion was just a talker but had at least a little bit of "moxy", he proved tonight he has none.

I learned that we can win.  I would’ve like to have seen the 2nd team come in when things weren’t going our way.  Fresh legs for both offense and defense might’ve been helpful.

The Refs were awful and Colt McCoy is still burned because Suh put the hurt on him!!

Defense was great.

Bad offensive night, although some of that had to do with the ref show.

At the end of the day we took care of business against a team we should beat, which hasn’t happened much over the last decade.

I'm not getting the Debbie Downer sentiment after this game at all. Like, not at all.

We completely shook off the whole "turnovers ruin winnable games" thing tonight. That was like, the biggest thing every single fan was looking for. That's a big milestone.

Our defense is on the verge of being in an elite tier.

We had good offensive play calling to work outside their blitz. I knew they'd sell out against the run all night. We just need to tweak a couple things there and spread the field out some more and we'll be rolling hard!

We also need a new kicker and more elite receivers.  The current unit does not get the separation we need to be top tier.

Dylan is the real deal.  Beyond what I could've hoped for.

Understand being more conservative in the 2nd half, but Saterfield turtled way too early and too much.

See I honestly don't think this is an accurate take.

I think he was trying to get outside the blitz with high percentage stuff. Some of it worked, and some of it didn't. But I don't think he "turtled."

Red Five! You called it, man! I know you called a two score win a few days ago. Wound up being three.  ;)

Hard to believe we were scoreless in the 2nd half against a BAD defense missing 3 players.
Agreed. We needed at least one more score before we decided to start running the clock. To salt the game away, and for the look of the score board.
