If Maurice Washington would not have gotten the boot and been are running back the last 2 years, The Cornhuskers would have won every single one score games that they lost. Also,  if J.D. Spielman had stuck it out this year, we would have only lost to Ohio State. What Maurice was punished for was wrong, but I can't help but feel it was indirectly a punishment for what Lawrence Phillips did back in the 90's.  Just saying...

I have not  heard any updates on where you are at these days MO. Hope you are well, how did the trial finish? 

 
Maybe No wasn't a great guy, but I feel our current running game disconnect was due in part to him leaving the program; same for the receiving corps.  J.D. left and we weren't prepared for his absence.

 
Mo wasn't punished. He chose to abandon the team. Frost even left to door open to his return pending some kind of penance but he's burned that bridge by now too, and it wouldn't be a good look with his conviction earlier in the year.

We still lost games with Mo and JD on the team. We maybe win two more with those guys here this year.
