I f#&%ing hate politics. It's only purpose is to make the American public battle eachother over stupid s#!t. And now that we elected a f#&%ing reality star the floodgates have opened from hot button issues like race being debated to just stupid s#!t about the guy in general. Divide and conquer has never been so f#&%ing easy. Here we are 2019. The mere sight of our commander in chief is so offputting that we are actually suggesting prohibiting usage of a former Nebraska player being used as an avatar because he shares a number with Trump. Even if it was (which I personally don't think it is, but to each their own), said specific poster has more than earned their extremely short leash when it comes to political content on the board and being an antagonizing troll. You know in high school all the bad kids got in trouble for every little thing and the good kids could get away with most stuff? It's because they were bad and good kids. If you put the microscope on yourself with bad behavior, people will see the bad behavior.
People keep throwing around stuff like "being offended". You don't have to be offended to report something, or to think it doesn't have a place. I report posts I'm not personally offended by all the time if they're breaking the rules. I've reported posts that were personal attacks against you before. This should have been the policy all along.
This is a total aside, but comparing Trump to Hitler is totally appropriate. Both are white males, for instance; that's a comparison. Equating Trump to Hitler would be extreme, but comparison is useful. You can compared apples and oranges too!

Remember when someone accused you of crying about some stupid bulls#!t and you (correctly) responded that you weren't, in fact, crying about it? Think about how much of a douchebag you think that person is for saying something so silly, then look in the mirror and realize how you're similarly crying with your accusations of others crying. You're a f#&%ing child.
Anyways, Redux, if this was targeting or only because of Dewiz then you wouldn't have a bunch of people immediately agreeing that NM and other avatars also weren't appropriate. But they did.
