I mean  .... how good could that Jazz team have been?  I mean ... really?  They swept a trash Lakers team in the Western Conference Finals that year.  The Lakers were slumming, having to roll some guys named O'Neal and Bryant out there.  They didn't even have a clutch late-game guy, still having to go with some guy named Horry.

The Jazz were probably pretty rested after having an easy 4-1 win in the Western Conferece semis.  San Antonio was stuck with only Robinson and Duncan.

We should have known the Jazz were trash when they needed a 3-2 win in the first round.  Houston could only roll three Hall of Famers out there in Olajuwon, Drexler and Barkley.

Man, the West was so down back then.

West was soooooo down.  There should really be an asterisk by the Bulls win that year.

Ah, yes. The 2nd year version of Kobe Bryant, who averaged 26 MINUTES a game, and started a whopping 1 GAME all year. Yes, peak Kobe, for sure.

And the rookie version of Duncan..... Those two guys DEFINITELY didn't significantly improve after that season. Karl Malone and Stockton DEFINITELY got them at their best. 

This stuff is hilarious. And now we're referencing NBA Jam as a defense.

The Bulls were fantastic. The teams they beat were great as well. But that was almost 25 years ago. Half of the rosters from those days couldn't make the NBA today. That's just the evolution of the athlete, and the game.

No, half the rosters would be thrown out of the game today for playing bad a$$ defense.

Bill Lambier would literally have KD crying, tears, literally.  

The game is not different, the officiating is different, that is it.  KD would be the 90's Toni....MJ, Jordan and Pip still kick a$$ if the play today.  Good lord, MJ would score 50 a game today.  Rodman might average 25 rebounds a game in todays game and that might be low.  

You know who Curry is in the 90's, his coach, Steve Kerr...would have been the him.  

For anyone that wants to try, do the matchups, please please please.

I can't even take most of that post seriously.

Curry would be Kerr? Yeah. That's the most ridiculous thing that's been said in this thread. Curry is the best shooter to ever step on a basketball court. 

And you're really going to try to compare KD to Kukoc?.... Equally hilarious. 

Jordan, and Pippen would still be great players in today's game, just like KD and Curry would of been great (even better) in the 90s.

All the "old guys were so tough" has to stop. The average current NBA player is bigger, faster, and stronger than the average player in the 90s.

Also, find me some video of GS players getting knocked on the ground all game.  Curry is not bigger than anyone, neither is Klay and KD is a pencil.  I agree that players today are bigger, faster and stronger, just none of those players played for GS.  I mean, Curry and Klay are not exactly physically intimidating or athletic freaks.  

Why will no GS fan do the match ups???
