You literally answered your own question. Same reason charges weren't brought against Trump by Mueller. The Supreme Court has now codified part of this into law where a President cannot be charged for anything under his "official" duties, which can only be changed by another SC ruling or an Amendment to the Constitution, so probably never.

We've given the President far too much power in our country and it's going to cost us either under Trump or some other authoritarian.

We need a leader "for the people" that keeps us in perpetual wars while also in historically high domestic inflation rates during his tenure.  

Let's follow him up with a woman who can't be honest with her own ethnicity, but we can trust her with the direction of our country.  Didn't your candidate want to control "corporate price gouging?"  How mightily Marxist of her.

Let me help you out. It might be harder to see when your innate leaning is significant left wing. 
 

Harris believes in equal equity. Not equality. She wants everyone to end up in the same place. You know what that system is, right?  She says it everywhere, but here’s just one quick search to prove I’m not putting words in her mouth. 
 

Do you believe her position that the Federal government intervene and stop “corporate price gouging” is some advanced form of Capitalism?
