You literally answered your own question. Same reason charges weren't brought against Trump by Mueller. The Supreme Court has now codified part of this into law where a President cannot be charged for anything under his "official" duties, which can only be changed by another SC ruling or an Amendment to the Constitution, so probably never.But, why? Let’s hear the evidence. No one is above the law, right? Let’s see this ironclad proof.

We've given the President far too much power in our country and it's going to cost us either under Trump or some other authoritarian.
