** 2024 Opponent Preview : Colorado (Game 2) **

I don't want any part of gameday again until we have built a lot of confidence.  I was at the 48-7 OSU game the last time they showed up in 2019 and that was painful to have on national TV.

He has zero plans of being there 3-5 years.  My money is he always was going to leave after Sheduer got drafted, that was the point of all of this.  Make some money, get the kid drafted, spend some time being on TV and peace out.
Yeah, going back to his very 1st presser when he got hired by CU, Sanders mentioned the AD said to him "Give me 2 years" and Sanders said "I'll give you 3".

No way he goes 3.   He only stays IF he can get a 5 star QB to transfer there.

I bet he wants the Dallas Cowboys job (my hunch), or a college team in the South that could sneak into the 12-14 team playoff.  I say the South because of the talent that is there and a lot of those players want to stay near home (HS or transfers).

And, what if he doesn’t get drafted?

I agree that this has always been the goal.
Yes the goal to get his kids and favorite guys into the NFL.

I also recall that he has already told the NFL his son will only go to a handful of teams, and don't even try to draft him (if you are not on Prime's list of teams).

Dude is trying to control everything and going about everything wrong and unnatural.

Started off 3-0, then went 1-9.

Currently still on a 6 game losing streak going into 2024.

Are there any locals in Lincoln or Omaha who might be selling 2 tickets for this game. In looking at my sons calendar, September 7 is the only weekend we can make a trip to Lincoln. Prices on stubhub are much higher than I have ever seen before.

I’m still on the fence if I want them to lose to NDSU.

Im beginning to think best case scenario is a NDSU loss followed by a 1990s style 40+ point destruction.

If we weren’t playing them, I’d watch that game and cheer for NDSU.

But for the good of our players’ psyche and the national attention, I want us both to be 1-0.

That said I’d love it if Colorado won by < 14 points.

Easy for me...I want CU to lose every single game and for the Sander's family to show what a bunch of blowhard egos they are.
Haha, I'm right there with you.

Normally I'd want our opponents to win so Nebraska beats or plays a "better team" in a more hyped game.

But now I'm in the boat of hate-watching them. I want them to lose to NDSU and have the wheels completely fall off in Lincoln.
