Oh no - please don't read that as blaming you for not shooting straight. It just got my hopes up and then I realized what the article was about. Not encouraging. A lot of smoke.

There is trouble brewing inside the athletic department.

There was a rumor circulating before the Big XII game that Carl Pelini was having an affair with a booster's daughter and Osborne was in the process of getting him a defensive coordinator job someplace else. Then the OWH reported that Carl was getting a substantial raise (up from 108K to 375K) but Osborne, you may have noticed, quickly issued a statement that no such deals were in place.

Now, more details have come out. Apparently the rumor is true and the woman is a former Ms. Nebraska. The persons (soon to be ex) father-in-law was a big hitter banker in Grand Island who sold his string of banks for about 95M 5 years ago and moved to Scottsdale. He has apparently gone all the way up to Harvey and is not about to let it go. Rumor has it that he has pulled millions of dollars in support for the University already.

Connected to that rumor is the rumor that Osborne told Bo that Carl had to go and Bo responded something to the effect of "If Carl goes, I go." Lets hope it doesn't come to that.

I'd like to tell that big hitter banker b!^@h to go f#*k himself, followed by a kick in the teeth. Despite your money, your son obviously is not good enough. TOO BAD.

Other than that, i'll only believe this stuff when it is disclosed to the public.

From everything I have heard Carl is married. So according to this rumor is Carl going to be getting a divorce then? Sounds a little fishy to me.

Back to this rumor with Carl.....

I am not proud to be posting this but the affair is 100% true and the couples divorce filing is 100% true. :bang

I, however, know nothing about the aftermath with Carl/Bo etc....just that the affair happened.

 
It says that the rumor that he was with a boosters daughter is true then it says that the woman soon to be ex-father-in-law was a booster. I'm confused, was it the woman's father that is a booster or the woman's father-in-law? I can see how people believe it because all of the things add up. :dunno :sarcasm <_<
