I usually go to bed around 10:30.  But, sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night with work crap on my mind.  I need something to get my mind off of that, so I'll scroll through stuff on my phone.  Lately, for some stupid reason, I've been waking up at 4:00am.

I mean Lutnick has a great point about about good laundering and tariff circumvention; but up until this point I think absolutely none of that has been mentioned publicly, and there seems to be no indication that this administration did anything meaningful to investigate or curb it from happening outside of idiotic tariffs.

I thought Trump was going cut waste and reduce the debt? But what has happened so far is cutting needed and useful government services and a proposed (One Big Beautiful) bill that will add $2.4T to the deficit over the next ten years.

So what’s up with the supposed party of personal and fiscal responsibility? How/Why do you continue to support this?

And yeah, I expect at least one here to answer.

Because they support the white straight Christian male at the cost of everyone else.  That’s it at this point.

It seems to be a little deeper than that imo. I’m a white straight Christian male and they’re doing next to nothing that makes me happy. I mean I’ll take the tax break at this point but it’s mostly only needed because everything else they’re doing is going to cost me more.

Now if I was a filthy rich straight white Christian male….then we might be cookin’ with gas.

Yes, the purpose and duration of the tariffs keeps changing.
