Elon Musk Neo Nazi ties

Last I checked a few years back, Tesla makes the vast majority of their parts in the US for cars they were selling in the US. They actually had the highest percentage among US automobile manufacturers. So I'm skeptical of the conclusion that's what's behind Trump's toned down Chinese rhetoric.
OK, thanks.

You may be right.  However, as has been pointed out, China makes millions of cars for Elon.  So, he has a vested interest there.  Elon makes American car parts in America....the competition makes a higher percentage in Mexico and Canada.  There's still a possible conflict of interest here.

There absolutely could be. But the Teslas made in China are sold primarily in China with some going to nearby countries (South Korea, Australia, etc.). Tesla has manufacturing facilities in Germany and the US, which sell primarily to the EU and US, respectively. So I'm not sure the Chinese tariff connection from Elon to Trump makes much sense. US tariffs against Canada and Mexico make a lot more sense for Elon though, but I didn't think Trump was proposing that.

Unfortunately that’s not the way it works now a days.  If it looks like a nazi salute, unfortunately the new rules are you get called a Nazi supporter!   Or maybe it’s a CCP supporter in Timmie’s case.  Either way, the rules are the rules no matter how stupid they are.

Do you have background proof of Elon being a Nazi supporter?   Or do we just rely on the “dog whistle trust me bro” type of reliance?   We have much much much more “proof” of Democrat leadership being pro hammy than Elon being a Nazi yet the angry crowd isn’t up in arms about it 🤷‍♂️

As we've established beyond any reasonable doubt here:  American White Supremacists believe Trump is their man and self-described Nazis took Elon's salute at face value. They did not see Tim Walz doing something kinda similar and say "wait! Maybe that's our guy!" I mean, go ahead and remove the word Nazi if you like, but the wealthiest man in the world is clearly having fun basking in the white nationalism of his new benefactors. The salute comes with the cosplay. We'll see how far Trump and Elon want to go. To pretend this is a nothingburger is......well it's just what you do.

You'll also have a really hard time finding proof of Democrat leadership coming out as pro-Hamas unless -- like Teach -- you immediately convert concern for the Palestinians into pro-Hamas idiocy. Maybe one or two of The Squad leaned in, but are you suggesting they didn't get Elon grade heat for that?  Should you locate a pro-Hammy Leftist, they will tell you that Democrat leadership largely bailed on Palestine when they weren't campaigning in Michigan, because they did.

While I agree with you, this is anecdotal.  We just don't know if EVERY Neo-Nazi member loves trump and musk.  But again, I agree with you.

All nazi dorks should be wiped out just like all hammy dorks should be wiped out.  Period.

No, Americans—or anyone, for that matter—should not be sympathetic toward Nazis or Hamas. Both groups are associated with extremist ideologies and actions that promote violence, oppression, and human suffering.

  • Nazis: The Nazi regime was responsible for the Holocaust, the deaths of millions of innocent people, and one of the most destructive wars in history. Their ideology was based on racism, genocide, and authoritarianism.
  • Hamas: Hamas is designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., EU, and other governments due to its attacks on civilians and its stated goal of destroying Israel. While some may sympathize with the plight of Palestinians, supporting Hamas is different from supporting Palestinian civilians who seek peace and stability.

Sympathy should be directed toward innocent people affected by conflict, not toward organizations or movements that promote hate and violence. Understanding historical and political complexities is important, but that doesn’t mean justifying or sympathizing with extremist groups.

It would be anecdotal if I told you about my Nazi friend who loved Trump and Musk. Instead, there are multiple liinks to researched articles about white supremacist organizations endorsing Trump, and a video of a self-identified American Nazi who recognized Musk's salute as playing to his crowd. The latter was a singular example, but not anecdotal, either.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings by downplaying your anecdotal arguments. I use them sometimes, too, but try to defer to the larger sample sizes.

Not sure why the issue of American white nationalism causes you to go to the pro-Hammy well every time. If we're all aligned on the worst actors in the world, the list is a lot longer than these two.

A lot of anecdoting here to unpack, wow.

I think that it is brought up because both are f#&%ing horrible disgusting hate groups that should all be executed.  So if one is brought up it makes sense that other is brought up especially since it was covered so much in the news the last 2 years.

You did not hurt my feelings, this is a post board.  If anyone gets hurt feelings on a post board they are in trouble.

Yo, can I get a conservative poster in here to spin this for me?
Some of us are conservative but not Trumpian Nationalists masquerading as conservative.   It is the Trumpian Nationalists who you should be admonishing to never vote again for the sake of the country and the world.  I've probably moved more to the moderate but would prefer a more traditional conservative but nothing of the trump/MAGA ilk.
