Iowa Joke Thread

i get the sense that a lot of iowa fans want to convince nebraska fans to accept mediocrity. as if us accepting it will make it ok for them to also accept it. like there thinking goes, "hell, if even neb. has given up recruiting, why should we even try." but we know our issues and many of them are the same as iowa's. but we will not accept mediocrity. we may face it and have to deal with it, but we will not accept it. we will always strive for championships and to remain competitive at a high level. so if you want comfort in your situation, find it from within. not here. but my advice to iowa fans is to demand more and be better. and honestly, iowa has had a lot of good seasons recently that should give them reason to have high expectations as well.

He has pulled all of the strings and made many of the decisons from behind the scenes. You still think he is god? He has fleeced Nebraska along with the fans, and you all keep sucking him off!

Whats a joke, is how Hawkeye fans think their football team is relevant. Only two sports Iowa has that is even relevant, are wrestling and NOW somewhat basketball.

I went to the "first annual" game with CU and UI, like two years ago, when CU won by 30 amazingly there was never another meeting of this "classic"... CU > IU...

IU only relevant in wrestling.

Iowa Man Accused Of Drunk Driving, Fighting Police While Naked

Police took Roberts to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics to get his injury treated. The situation deteriorated from there, according to officials.Per KETV:

Police said while in the emergency room lobby, Roberts took off his pants and "caused a scene." Later, when he was discharged from the hospital, Roberts refused to get dressed and started two fights with the deputy while he was still naked.

"Mr. Robert was uncooperative the entire time," the complaint states.

What does a head coach of a college football team that is not nearly as good as they used to be think about the fans?

Our crowd. What a bunch of f------ fair-weather f------ — they can all kiss my a$$ out the f------ door. 'Cause the day is f------ coming now. We'll see what they can do when I'm f------ gone.

Oh yea, this was after a game where thousands of fans and students left the game well before it was over (well, I guess it was actually over, the time had just not run out). Is it only fun to support them when they win?
