What is this, some sorta s#!tty haiku? She accused the other 2 Boys of assault
It looks like the police have chosen to not go after them
which most likely means she’s lying
And many teens in that position probably would lie
especially with mom and the whole school in on it
so mo sends her and only her a copy
the jealous immature boyfriend who’s gal gives bjs to classmates on camera in a car
and is humiliated by said video being passed around school
he made a mistake I’m guessing more than a handful of kids that age would do
he sent the video to her and only her
punishment yes
probation yes
penance yes
death penalty no
I agree with this, and will add - that if he lied about this to the staff or hid it as a pending issue during his recruitment or hid it after rumbles started when CA tried to reach out to him, then I feel we're dealing with issues probably related to team rules/moral clause. In regards to his potential future status on the football team, remember this all happened before he was enrolled at NU. That’s no excuse for what he may have done or legal consequences he may face, but IMO it does factor into his potential future playing football here going forward. That should eventually be up to Frost and NU administration and will likely not be determined until after any potential legal consequences get determined.
I think it's well past the point of invoking a "clause".I agree with this, and will add - that if he lied about this to the staff or hid it as a pending issue during his recruitment or hid it after rumbles started when CA tried to reach out to him, then I feel we're dealing with issues probably related to team rules/moral clause.
How does anyone other than Maurice know what his intent was. I'm sure the prosecuting attorneys want all of us to assume that his intent was to shame her because it fits so nicely in their shiny new law, but if we take a step back and think about all possible scenarios, then actual intent gets a little harder to prove. I, personally can't stand the word "intent" included in any legal definition. It relies too much on assumptions to prove innocence or guilt. So far with what all has been reported as facts, at this time Maurice appears to be guilty of nothing more than misdemeanor possession of child pornography. If this were to be the case, then there should be consequences, but it is entirely different than the theoretical creep with 1000s of pics of 8yo's that Olddominionhusker described above. The only punishment I think is appropriate is for MW for keeping a video and sending it to the girl with the intent to shame her.

I may have missed an update - last I read (and I'm out of state, so I'm sure there are a ton of articles I've missed) there were questions about dates that Mo knew about the issue w/police in what would have been during his recruitment as well as contact by the state of CA being attempted this fall. If the staff knew about all this and made their minds up to play him and see how things rolled then that's one thing. If they just found out a few weeks ago and he'd been lying or hiding the issue from them then in my opinion there are likely some discussions about not just the legal issues he is facing (I'm sure that's their first priority) but also his actions with regard to to misleading the coaching staff and team.I think it's well past the point of invoking a "clause".
Once University leadership found out about it he sought legal counsel. And Moos has already said Washington has support and it's a legal issue now.
I doubt Washington told Frost about it during his recruitment but I also doubt Washington thought it was something he'd be dealing with like this.I may have missed an update - last I read (and I'm out of state, so I'm sure there are a ton of articles I've missed) there were questions about dates that Mo knew about the issue w/police in what would have been during his recruitment as well as contact by the state of CA being attempted this fall. His eligibility was still questionable.Washington sent the text in March 2018. He had already signed his LOI.
