You have a player on your team named "Kicker?" Or you just know so little about your team that you don't know your own kicker's name? Either way, that's pretty funny.

And if he really is not that good, then where does Zac Lee rank, because if Gabbert had gone to Nebraska, Zac Lee would be 2nd string
It's fun to pretend, isn't it?

Just think how much better the Cornhuskers would be w/ Gabbert at QB

nothing.....NOTHING has lead me to believe that gabbert is the better qb. who has gabbert played? wait til you play a team with a pulse...

You mean like Illinois? Oh... whoops.

Or maybe Bowling Green? Yeah.....

Or maybe you mean Furman? Aside from the ticker on the bottom of ESPN, has anyone ever heard of Furman....?

Ah, I've got it! You mean Nevada, right? Err... right?

That OOC schedule looks bad. 2010 Nebraska bad.

He's flyin under the radar. This guy is the real deal. Everybody wrote Missouri off after jmac and danny boy left but they overlooked the 1st rounder next to them. Sticken with the -7.5.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he is flying under the radar because he isnt that good! sorry bro, he looks like a josh freeman to me......he will play ok-good against the patsies of course!

about the line.....at best for you the line will be -1.....and frankly even if you are ranked ahead of us in the coaches poll i wouldnt be surprised to see us favored! we are ranked higher in the AP poll and that will be taked into account.

oh and even though im sure most of you MU fans have purposefully forgotten this but the fact is that gabbert tried to come back to NU right before signing day but Pelini told him no because he had bailed and we had already covered his spot. so frankly you werent even your qbs first choice.... <_<
is that true? i believe it, but thats the first time i heard someone say that.
yes it is...im looking for some of the places that ive seen it and as soon as i find them i will post them....its been a while since ive seen it discussed so not sure where to find it yet!

Quite honestly, I can say the same about the Cornhuskers. And don't say, "They played Va Tech" because, honestly, Va Tech wasn't all that great.

You know the real deal when you see it. I've seen him twice and he's impressive. He's got a cannon for an arm.

You mean to say that Nebraska made them look not all that great. We beat that team everywhere but the scoreboard, and we're not going to be making those mistakes again.

There's very little room to make the argument that VT isn't "that great" when they've played the schedule they've played and they're ranked 11th in the nation.

As a lifelong Tiger fan, I hate and always have hated Kansas. Unconditionally, unequivocally, and irrationally. When they are the issue, facts and reason leave my mind.

I don't feel that way about any other team, including Nebraska. I'm in my mid-30's and, as such, grew up admiring the success of Nebraska's programs. For a host of reasons, the recent years have been kind to Mizzou while Nebraska has been working its way through a series of transitions, from Osborne to Solich, Solich to Callahan, and Callahan to Pelini. I was there in Columbia when the Tigers beat Nebraska for the first time in nearly 30 years. I was there in Lincoln last year when the Tigers scored 52 points during Nebraska's homecoming. That those 2 events transpired, that we find ourselves in a position where the Mizzou-Nebraska game has become such an important part of every season, and that the series has become generally competitive, are things I always hoped for but which I never necessarily expected to happen. Obviously, these recent events have caused a host of reactions. I'm sure that if you've visited Tigerboard and tried to engage in legitimate discourse, you've been disappointed in the responses. I've seen some of the same stuff while lurking on this board.

I assure you I'm not looking to get involved in any of that stuff. Instead, I seek your all's perspectives on your team and what you've seen out of them so far. I've attended all the Tiger games, so I haven't been able to see a snap of Nebraska's season. What I'm wondering, specifically, is whether you think that Nebraska will beat Mizzou on October 8th? If so, why do you feel that way? Are the Huskers better than last year and, if so, in what areas? Or are you thinking that Mizzou has simply fallen off with the loss of Daniel, Maclin, Coffman, et al.? From my perspective, this Tiger team is definitely different and we certainly don't have anyone of Maclin's caliber. We do still have a lot of good pieces though, including several young players who played parts in what was a 5-touchdown win in Lincoln last year.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
And I will hate Missouri until my heart beats it's last. Except Tuff Tiger, I like him. He is special.

As for your team, they are not so consitent, I think they will come in third, and Gabbert is a pretty darn good talent and I hate him for it. MU is a bit hard to peg still, IMO.

Nebrask probably takes it this year, but it could be a really good game and I look forward to it. I just think Nebraska has more depth of experienced talent, but their new QB may not be as good as yours, so I put that as your best hope for a win. Could happen.

Rock Chalk and see you at Arrowhead.
You got that right

You're right about the schedule and there is a reason that they are ranked that high, I will give you that, but I just don't think they were all that impressive in that game. It could have been the doing of the defense but from what I saw, and I will grant you that I did not see the whole game, that Va Tech's offense missed a lot of opportunities, but of course, I could be wrong. And I saw the 'Bama game and they didn't impress me then either.

a cannon is one thing.....freeman also had a cannon, but i know i would sure as hell take either a ganz or a daniel before a freeman any day.
