Netflix & streaming video stuff worth watching

Watch Severance. Also, the script writer was working in a door factory when he started writing it. Ben Stiller picked it up.

During Episode 1 of The Severance Podcast, Erickson revealed that shortly after he moved to Los Angeles, the door factory was the first office job that he found on Craigslist. “I was very grateful for that job. And the people there were very nice and treated me very kindly. But it was the last thing in the world I wanted to be doing,” Erickson said, explaining that just like the innies, he worked in a window-less basement. “I was just walking into work one day. It was 9:00 a.m. and I literally just had the thought like, ‘God, what if I could jump ahead and suddenly it would be five? And I would have done the day’s work, but I wouldn’t have to experience it.'” Iconic.
I hear it is really good!

Hacks, if you can find it, is really good too.

I'm almost done watching this on Netflix.  Finding it very interesting.  It's amazing the people they interviewed for it.  They have guys who were beside him in his revolution, guys who were in are in exile because they tried to kill him, his ex lover who the US hired to kill him then she backed out, his son and daughter...etc.

Recently discovered there is a new season of Black Mirror on Netflix. First 3 have been good so far…..
The whole new season of Black Mirror is very good. There is a sequal episode to USS Callister that worked perfectly as the follow up.

Class Action Park on HBO/Max.

You have to watch this. About an amusement park, Action Park, that operated in northern New Jersey 1970s to about 1996. No rules, no engineers designing rides, place was basically run by 14-16 year olds and was out of control. Untold number of injuries and multiple deaths. Runs about 90 minutes. Pretty wild what they were allowed to do. Unbelievable that the place stayed open as long as it did.

Would be interesting to know if anybody here ever went there.

Man! A Costco membership AND Apple TV. You’re just filthy rich aren’t ya? 🤣

Actually I think I’m still eligible for a year or 6 months of Apple TV free from on cellular plan. I should maybe do that.
