NHL 2024-25

Can't wait for the game tonight! I don't think it will open up with fights again (which was awesome), but should be an amazing atmosphere. I heard that tickets for the game tonight are going for what game 7 in the Finals typically go for; crazy! 

 
Amazing hockey game. As much as it pains me to admit because I don’t like him, Binnington stole that game for Canada. That OT period was crazy.

 
3rd period saved them. That open net goal doesn't really count. Going from an East Conference finals team to probably not making the playoffs is pretty bad.

 
Minimally exciting as an Avs fan. Lindgren will be an upgrade for our 3rd pair and will probably slot into PK2. Good for a playoff run rental but what we really need is a 2C. Maybe we’ll still get that. Vesey seems to be a waste and I don’t know anything about Kempf. Hopefully they got thrown in just to juice up another deal elsewhere.
 

de Haan is decent but pretty run of the mill. Parssinen also seemed okay but he hasn’t been here long and hasn’t done much. Both seem easily replaceable.

Yes, for a Rangers fan, that seems to be the best part of this deal.

Sounds like they have been interested in Parssinen for awhile also. Not sure of NYR specific needs but he is a decent bottom 6 forward.

 
Edmonton Oilers 74 points 35-21-4 and on the heels of the Begas Golden Knights for 1st place in the Pacific   chuckleshuffle

And that includes 6 losses and a tie in their last 10 games.  Which is how the Oilers play in the playoffs.

Maybe they will skate like the 80's and become champions.  Or not.
