Me too. Bad enough he is back in the Western conference but also in the Central. Me no like.

I like(d) Mikko and wish him well but not with Dallas. These GMs must not have paid attention during his 10ish years with the Avs. He needs to be on a line with a playmaker like MacKinnon and there just aren’t that many type players around. He’s a great goal scorer but he isn’t going to create those chances on his own. Wish he would’ve ended up someplace I could root for him to succeed.

You guys, Dallas Hockey is the s#!t.  Been that way since they pulled Minnesota out of their asses and brought them to the South.  Where they belong.

Dallas Hockey is like skating on ice and rich oil.  The Stars are where the Oilers became Oilmen on ice.  With rich dark blacks and vibrant green.... Where all your base are belong to us.

Ovechkin ties Gretzky’s goal scoring record tonight with 2 against the Blackhawks. Had multiple shots at a hatty for the record but will have to wait until at least Sunday vs the Isles.

For 5 or 6 years straight I loved the Caps because of him.  That was about 10 years ago!   

Because I felt that if anyone could surpass THE GREAT ONE it would be him.

I am so happy and proud of him  :worship

 
Gabe Landeskog played in a hockey game for the first time in 1020 days, since hoisting the Stanley Cup with the Avs. Played last night for the AHL Colorado Eagles (he was sent there for a conditioning stint). It was pretty cool, all his teammates (Mackinnon, Makar, Toews, Colton, Manson, etc) that are resting the remainder of the regular season, showed up for support. He will be playing for the Avs come playoffs.  :koolaid2:
 

There is a little series on Max called “A clean sheet” about his injury/surgery recovery efforts if anyone is interested.

The Sens made the playoffs and they’ll probably get to play the Leafs. It’s going to be a good spring! 
 

All of my teams have underperformed for so long, it feels great to feel positive about a season and have a team playing for something meaningful.

IDK why but I’m just not a Leafs fan. Seems the NHL acts like they’re the most important team in the league. A first round exit would be awesome.

Yeah that was the weakest effort I’ve ever seen in a playoff game. Hoping they were just out of sorts with Lande’s return but it was ugly. Need to get some production out of their star players and the top 2 lines. So far line 4 has been the only saving grace. Saturday is an absolute must win or they’ll be golfing early.
