I have a son with a disability. Think about watching your words or people might think you're a punk.
Hiding behind behind a false name and trying to be tough. priceless. I love thin skin posters.
Is Polarhusker your first or last name? Or a combination of the two? You're so lucky. Do you see how I used "you're"?

I think he's a great person. I think his priorities are exactly right.

He knows coaching and he's even keel and he has the right mindset.
Sounds like we should give him some time to figure things out then if he's got all these things going for him.
Are you always this masochistic?
You get away with a lot of posts in which you don't even discuss the post, but just the poster. How is that? I'll gladly answer any questions you have about me personally, in person. I can't figure why you seem to be so concerned about my personality. Do I know you? Is there a reason I need to know you? At what point did I ever give you the impression that I came to this board seeking your approval of the things I say or do? I can make it simple for you. I don't care.

We clear yet?

Oh, the irony!

The Sock not happy bein' back this way. Things is different with Coach Riley than they was with Bogre. Folks in Husker Football really wantin' The Smiley Fella to succeed but things on the field not workin' out that way.

The Source sayin' that the Big Heads round the fancy table knowin' that Husker Football hurtin' bad and they ain't happy. Some thinkin' The Ginger Assassin really just a Badger in Corn Husks and he did bad by makin' a one man decision to bring in The Smiley Fella.

The Source sayin' that with the Shiny Pearl quittin' lots of stuff could happen just like folks here been sayin'.

The Source havin' conflict right now sayin' The Smiley Fella really 1000% genuine good person to be round' so they don't want to see him go but Husker Brothers and Sisters deserve better so it's tough spot to be in. Things was more easy with Bogre.

sock puppet your lame (i know you said your also another poster on here.... i might like your true self but not this version).... you had everyone all worked out and you pretty much had the biggest fail in HB history.... i thought you had retired... but seeing that your back i want to squirt some lube in you do my business in your sock butt and then set you on fire and drop your ashes 20 miles out to sea.......

It's not about winning only 9. It's about always being in a solid position to bounce up, should the right circumstances present themselves.
The chances Bo had to do that, he screwed up fabulously. And they hit the nail exactly on the head: his entire culture was about resenting the fact that anybody wanted to do anything more.
It's why a team captain from last year's squad is laughing at fans who wanted Bo gone for going 9-4.

Their priorities were so far out of order. I agree wholeheartedly with Sam's perspective.
And that team captain was right. A portion of our fans are deluded.

And I'd say perly and Pederhorst were among them, but I honestly don't think perly cares about record. He just didn't like pelini. And his hired b!^@h monkey just followed out his orders.

Yes, it certainly does tend to back fire when you scrap a winning culture for a losing one.

As Kenny said, it's not that the guys have a bad attitude toward Riley and his staff. It's just that you replace a way of winning with a way of losing and there's going to be frustration.

You know, if Riley had any track record of real success as an HC (or even an assistant) in the United States, maybe I'd have some faith that this was a player problem and not a coach problem.

But folks like you are trying to get us to accept that it's the players fault (and by extension, Bo's fault) that they aren't performing under a career. 500 staff.

Sometimes, the simplest explanation is the correct one.

This is a .500 coach doing what a .500 coach tends to do.
Give it a f#cking rest for 5 f#cking minutes would ya. Jeezus Krist your sh#t gets old. Just shut the f#ck up and go away.
Do you think you're adding anything to the conversation? You're not. Maybe you should read what you type before you hit the post button. That might MIGHT cut down on some of the useless f#cking drivel you usually post. You're not happy, we get it. Nobody else is happy either but most of us aren't busy douching it up like you. f#*k!

Winning.

*Players highlighted in red also played for the following coach. Only notable players shown
In Callahan's 4th season (2007) he was still starting 7 Solich recruits on offense.

So, what criteria did you pull out of your butt to determine who was "notable"?

Who was a good starter on offense that year that was from Solich?? Joe Dailey doesn't count
Joe Dailey was long gone before 2007. Do you have any idea what you are talking about?

Nate Swift was one. Obviously, he fit your mysterious "notable" criteria, but you have him listed as a Callahan recruit. He was Solich's first commit for the '04 class. Committed in June of '03.

There are tons more examples. Dane Todd was a Solich kid. He made first team All Big 12 for Callahan in '06. There were also about 14 guys on Callahan's first roster that went on to sign NFL contracts.

Just start over and list all the players.

Why do you talk to people like that and what makes you think it's okay? Maybe even bigger question is why do the mods here continue to ignore it?
Big Ern stated in his first post he wasn't placing any bias on anything. He was just compiling a list the best he could and opening the discussion for debate. It's a message board. That's kind of the point.

Then here you come telling him he's pulled things "out of his a$$" as if he's got an agenda. You're the one with an agenda and apparently you get to be outright disrespectful to people to prove it.
He has been an asshat since he started posting regularly.
