Playing in the Southern California semifinals tonight. I am watching it online. He gets the ball out quick and is very smooth on the read option. Can’t tell how much of a running threat he is at this point as pocket collapsed around him a couple times where he couldn’t escape. I happened to run into a parent of another player on Orange Lutheran recently, word is he is solid and the family likes the program. I’m excited to see what this kid can do.

I really, really like this kid.  Confident.  Quick release.  Good arm.  Throws to the spot.  Good accuracy.  Takes big game chances (win some, lose some).  Has sturdy feet in the pocket.  But also has quickness to scramble a bit.  Needs to add some good weight.  He's going to get better, and I feel the QB room looks a lot better now.
