Love this kid as a center prospect. He can play guard great too imo, but he as all the makeup of a dominant center. Stocky, powerful, good hands, smart....also said in an interview he will cancel all remaining trips to different schools, he is committed here.
That's good news. Thanks for the info. +1

I think it was Headly on here, I think I got close to 50 +1s lol. I called wifi out for stealing EZ's Info on 247. Usually it's tough to tell if guys are on different forums if they use different names, not this guy. You can tell from the first post, he's that "special".

Hi wifi, I know your stalking. Your right Farmer is a stud, but you had nothing to do with us getting him, absolutely nothing.

Check out some of Farmer's 1-on-1s at the Chicago NFTC. Dominating.

0:24 Farmer vs Peyton Newell (another potential Husker commit)

1:10 Farmer vs Dylan Thompson (Ohio St commit)

Don't know if there was a more impressive interior OL in these clips than Farmer

Tanner Farmer is the best recruit in this class so far and will end up being the best recruit in four years in this class. People can thank me later. I am very glad I got his name out there for the fans when I learned about him at the St. Louis camp.

If he were in the army anyone else think he'd suffer a similar fate as neidermeyer from animal house?...
I'm thinking more along the lines of what happened to Vincent D' onofrio in "Full Metal Jacket." Soap in a sock treatment.
But he has a naturally solid build so it wouldn't affect him the same way.

Also,

1:23 Farmer vs Justin Diddell

Peyton Newell is featured in these clips as well. And, besides against Farmer, Newell was looking strong. Love to see more commits heading to Nebraska.

+1 Completely agree. Brian Allen (Michigan St Commit) took away OL MVP, but at least in this footage, Farmer dominated. Plus, he had the second highest SPARQ score for a OL at the camp (96.96, second to Evan Short's 98.64).

Nice pick up!!! will go up in the ratings if he does a couple other camps nice foot work small fast steps to rotate his body. Not to many kids his size have his build 300 pounds usually means fat around the gut this kid has a work horse written all over him. Only down size is his short arms but for center or guard he will work out nice.

Besides the conditioning wrestling provides, it teaches the kid how to react to an opponents moves and the mind learns to stay ahead of the defender. Read it, react to it and erase whatever the opponent does. I like what I see in this young man, both physically and mentally.

I don't know if we've ever had a poster like him on this board. I don't really even remember him doing anything wrong, he was just that annoying that the mods banned him.
Wasn't he taking info or something like that and posting it like it was his own
The only thing I know is that he'd PM me and I believe Crewe and ADS and ask for either what we had heard or what we thought and post it other places.

I had a member of this board PM me and tell me he posted something on another board after I was witness to the Jonathon Rose incident that never was brought to light "breaking the news" about a "potential starter in trouble."
It was me, you can say it. I busted his a$$ and I called him out for it. His response was to call me cranky, wierd dude. I've come to conclusion that he's a 15 yr old kid.

Sorry for derailing the thread, back to Farmer.
I can't remember which recruits profile it was, but you called him out and it may have been the funniest post I've read on here. I may be getting the one mixed up with when you bitched out Hedley too.
I remember that post too. It got like 60 likes.

In the first video...does a guy say "He's a...........DAMN WALL," when referring to Farmer!?? It sounds like it hehehehe. He looked very dominating. He has a huge upper-body.

@mitchsherman O-Linemen getting the best of D-Linemen right now, including #Nebraska commit Tanner Farmer, who pancaked Marcus Griffin. @TheOpening_2013

Sounds like Tanner Farmer continues to do well. Below are some more tweets:

Allen Trieu ‏@AllenTrieu

Rod Taylor and Tanner Farmer both just had good reps

Allen Trieu ‏@AllenTrieu

Solomon Thomas with a good rep vs Tanner Farmer. Kammy Delp and Vinae Talamaivao looked good in that run block drill. Pass pro now starting

Allen Trieu ‏@AllenTrieu

Tanner Farmer continues to impress. I like USC commit Toa Lobendahn so far too

Allen Trieu ‏@AllenTrieu

Just as he did at NFTC, Nebraska commit Tanner Farmer looking good at The Opening. On the line, three interior prospects did very well. Tanner Farmer (Highland, Ill.), a Nebraska commit, is one of the strongest, if not the strongest player in attendance.

Greg Biggins ‏@GregBiggins

DL Solomon Thomas, OL Tanner Farmer, OL Viane Talamaivao, DL Andrew Brown and OL Toa Lobendahn also stood out

Yeah his body size and then getting him in to fine tune his mechanics...this guy will prove to be a great get for a staff that can't judge talent... :sarcasm

He already has a higher bench and higher squat than a majority if not all of the O-Line we have who are seniors. WOW!!!!! No idea how this kid slipped through the cracks but he could be a 4 year starter for us.
Hope he isnt a four year starter.
Why? If the kid's good enough to start as a freshman, why shouldn't he?
All about the pipeline. I am a firm believer in OL paying their dues before starting. Hardly any OL are ready to start as a freshman.

Don't think we are in a position to have to use freshman unless we see alot of injuries, but it's nice to know this guy has the size and strength to play earlier in his career.
