The Offending Posts Commentary Thread

Just noticed that two of those accounts have been banned. One was created in 2008 and the other in 2011. But neither posted much until recently. Curious if they were socks or just placeholders for trolls from other teams who only come here from time to time, like HuckFusker. 

 
huskerfan702 has been pretty abrasive for awhile.  But he really went off the deep end over the weekend.





Then another one that I probably could have put in Offending Posts but moved it to the Junkyard (behind the scenes) instead, along with the rest of the "Ban Enhance for Good" thread.  He said he was leaving anyway.

I know this will be deleted and my account will be suspended but I agree. At this point of west coast time it will probably never be seen but I was warned for saying stones and daring to go against his authority. No matter what I always believed and hoped for Nebraska but seeing the people here allowed to be covertly racist but I can’t say stones is really speaking volumes. I found huskerboard in the Bo pelini era when I could never have access on my side of the country to what’s really going on. No matter what this is my last post. Hope we figure it out. But I’ve seen a lot here that really disappointed me as a black man.

Apparently he has since clarified that it wasn't an actual warning.  I don't know what the context was, don't recall being the one who sent the message and there doesn't appear to be a way to search through the Reported Content to find anything.  So I'm not any help on this.

Correct.   It wasn’t an official warning, but it was made known the use of the word toe’d the line.   I was just letting @teachercdknow to be careful using that word based on my prior experience so he didn’t get it any trouble.   
 

I didn’t mind getting the message from the mod because he was pretty nice about it.   It’s more having a poster actually think that’s worth reporting someone over.   Crazy! 

 
no idea if this was the case or not....but knowing how things are moderated here i would say that calling the russians commies is one thing.   saying a poster here is a commie is another.

I didn’t see it but to clarify, using “commie” generally probably isn’t a problem. However if you referred to another poster as a “commie”, yeah that likely got a warning. Two different situations there.

So don’t play martyr or misrepresent things ya Commie. Hey this is the shed, had to spice it up.

Well, when the message from the mod says 

Even if you weren't necessarily talking about other board members

But like I said, the mod was very respectful in his/her message and I only brought it up specifically to @teachercd to be careful using the word so he didn’t get a nasty gram because some easily offended poster (RedDenver) has a problem with people making fun of communism.
