The conversation itself wasn't relevant to the thread either, IMO. So, while I could parse it out and put parts of in a tangent thread or parts of it in Offending Posts, it's easier to just keep it all grouped.

Also, it doesn't make sense to move the photo but leave responses that show the photo. The violation is still obvious and visible.

So....it was because of the pic with BS on it? And the op with pic got blown into cyberspace?

Sorry, I don't know anything about the thread or conversation that precipitated it. Just saw commando's post in offending posts but did not see the original post with the pic. I saw nothing wrong with commando's reply...

No sweat. The original post with the image was in the Offending Posts thread before commando's reply was added, but you had to go back a page to see it.

And, yes, while I agree there's nothing wrong with @commando's reply, inclusion of the offending post (in this case, image) into the reply means it can no longer stay itself. And this is exclusive from my opinion that MN's initial post about the flag was not very relevant to the thread he shared it in, and resulting responses could be seen as an unnecessary tangent to the thread's intent. So, either way, something was going to have to give.

Sorry, I should've looked around a bit before questioning. I didn't look at the previous page of offending posts and, if I had, I still wouldn't have seen MN's original post because I have him on ignore.

And since we're in the shed, f#ck that idiot  :D

Same. It used to send me to page one, but after several times, it sent me to page two. Several more times of that and now I'm getting page three.

Probably because it's a locked thread. But "go to first new post" doesn't work the same as other threads.

I certainly don't condone this type of outburst...but going out in a blaze of glory is always entertaining. Since the post is likely to be deleted and whoever this poster is will soon be banned, might as well memorialize it.
