Ya, I remember back in the 60s when they played the Knockout game and showed up at school and gunned down their classmates or killed random people because they were bored.

I don't think this is typical behavior of teenagers today. I also don't think it would be very difficult to find examples of teenagers in the 60s doing equally as sinister things.

There's a lot more kids today, so there's probably more instances of these things, and we get to see them first hand with today's technology, but I remain unconvinced there's some grand difference in general.

To some degree at least, HeyBurke is correct. Many of the things we say about "kids today" have been uttered for thousands of years.

Broad generalizations like these are always dubious.

I think technology (social media--giving everyone a voice) has more to do with the idea of "kids these days" than an actual personality difference.
