Positives:
- We didn't lose by one score
- We're still just one win away from a bowl game
- We've only given up five rushing TD's this year
- We may get to keep Tony White another year
- Zero stress for next week; we'll be 5 - 3 going into UCLA.
Negatives:
- Rhule's loyalty means no one will be held rightfully accountable for this performance on his Staff
- Rhule's 2nd year looks a lot worse than Indiana coach's first year, it looks worse than the "progression" of his last two rebuilds, and with a better QB, looks eerily as bad as last year.
- Rhule, who ultimately hired this entire Staff, also saw Jeff Simms as a Sunday QB.
- Every team we play ahead is trending somewhat upward. We are going South.
- There was a lot of smoke coming into today. Zero points in the 2nd Half against CU. UNI pushing our line around. Folding against Illinois. Zero points in a half on Purdue. Rutgers' win by the slimmest margin.
- Bye weeks don't seem to make us better. Off seasons don't seem to make us better.
- Our receivers cannot block or create separation.
- Our RB's have no breakaway potential.
- Hard to see if there's a worse Special Teams in the nation.
- Is anyone coaching Dylan's eyes or footwork?
- Satterfield is the same coach as his prior stops. Leopards' stripes don't change. And, see Negative bullet 1...he will be the play caller through the rest of this year.
- What recruits still want to come here? And why?
A bowl is not a given at this point. It's bad.
