I thought they put him back out there to get an injury time out and save one of the normal ones. What happened...injury time outIt was totally idiotic to send him back out.

As a Boliever, it was a drunk monkey. 10 wins now, might get you a shot at the CFP.....Remember a monkey can win 9 games at NU

You find a coach with a proven track record. A hungry coach. You embrace what made Nebraska good for so many years. Physical up front. On both sides of the line. Guys who played with a mean streak and were probably good for a penalty for playing past the whistle. Knows how to run the friggin ball. Rhule had a track record of "turning around programs", but then left. You find a coach that has this same mentality. A guy who speaks his mind. Doesn't give a sh!t about bulletin board material. Who isn't about ice cream and feel good speeches. A coach who expects and more importantly demands excellence.
I honestly never saw any of that in Rhule. He lost me after the 75 yards in the 4th and landing body blows and gave us this season. There's a HUGE difference in saying these things in a presser and following through. Too date, for me, he is all bark and no bite. Clean house at the end of the season and I'll back him one more year. Same staff and I'll be done with him as a HC. And I wasn't the laughing emoji. I still can't post reactionsA few weeks ago this was an entirely accurate representation of Rhule
This. I've thought for a few games that he was just trying to force the ball down the field and wasn't seeing the easy routes underneath.
But yesterday he wasn't even throwing to his primary read when they were open. The TE down the seam was the primary read on the Pick Six. It was open. Wouldn't throw it. On 4th & goal we had a rub route that was going to be open. He bailed on that.
When you can't even get a guy to throw to his open primary receiver, it makes things basically impossible.
So obviously the pick six is completely on Raiola, and it was the biggest play of the game.
But I don't think Satterfield is off the hook for not recognizing earlier in a game when Raiola is off. We waited until we were down bad to start consistently bringing in a motion man to be a blocker in the run game. We started doing that after the pick six.
And then on that drive we score a touchdown.
I really would love to be a fly on the wall in any meetings where Rhule sits in on high-level offensive strategic discussions. This has just started to not make much sense.
I agree. It's up to the coaches to put the players in a position to succeed.
But when you're putting them in that position and they just won't do what they're supposed to do/could do, that's also tough.
That is correct! As a Boliever, it was a drunk monkey. 10 wins now, might get you a shot at the CFP.....
all good bro, going to the Chiefs MNF will help forget the loss. With the Bye coming up next week, the UCLA loss hurts a lot. With a win, we would have become bowl eligible, pressure off, team relaxes, and we use bye week to prepare with a different attitude. With the loss, monkey is now King Kong, and team has so much pressure and mentality is completely different. Team now has two weeks to think of this loss and the wasted chance, which can be daunting.
I really hope they get ice cream and popcorn. I think they deserve a good time after their hard work getting bowl eligible.all good bro, going to the Chiefs MNF will help forget the loss.
It might be tough, but you’re getting paid a sh1t ton of money to handle tough. You should have multiple contingencies to handle these situations, including giving a non-shell-shocked QB a chance. You don’t keep doing the same thing.I agree. It's up to the coaches to put the players in a position to succeed.

The players are making bank too. They are paid to show up ready to play, know their roll and do it.
