Why are we blaming politicians? When politicians have no consistent core values but only finger in the air values, their words always come back and bite them
This is so true. Why are we blaming politicians?
Marco Rubio accurately told his constituency that Trump is a f#&%ing moron. His voters decided that Rubio must support Trump or else an Ultra-MAGA idiot would primary him.
Voters need to stop blaming politicians for every lie they tell and instead voters need to take responsibility for the people they elect. s#!tty politicians are the result of the voting preferences of your moronic neighbors.
All very true - politicians will do politics. Up to voters to find the good ones. Why are we blaming politicians?

Correct. At this point, Trump isn’t the only problem in the party.I really hope so. But they already cashed in their chips. It’s gone.
What would they go back to? We have all heard these voter say the likes of Bush, Romney, and other “classic” conservatives are relics. Voters won’t allow a “reclamation”.
IMO, the only hope is a complete rebranding in a new 3rd party that is most likely going to struggle for a couple decades but will do better than Libertarians and probably outlast the new GOP.
