Oscillated between not noticeable and a liability, which is not bad for a redshirt freshman DL (who was a project to boot) in the Big Ten. I hate to see any players go, I'm always holding out hope they make a leap and turn into good players here. But with the numbers what they are, it's in the interest of both parties for guys like Jackson to move on. He will probably end up pretty good, we don't necessarily have the time to see that through.

Well with Jeudy coming back and having Van Popple and Lenhardt I don't know that he would see much playing time.  Also #97 cant thing of his name but he'll get better and get snaps

I'd anticipate a lot of guys going to the portal. Close to 50, considering the recruiting class and our own transfer portal additions which Nebraska sorely needs.

Yeah, no surprises so far. There will be a few I'm sure, but these all make sense and would appear to be mutual and not just the player wanting out.

 
If I wasn't absolutely at the bottom of the depth chart with no chance to move up, it might be a really bad year to go into the portal just because you're not happy with your position...unless you are perfectly fine going down a division....or two.  This is going to get absolutely crazy.  If the staff tells you they want you.....might want to take them seriously.

 
Buckle yer chinstraps, boys and girls. Breathe. We know it's gonna get a bit crazy. Roll with it. Silly season is gonna be extra silly, and not just for us. Everyone is literally adjusting on the fly this go around
