Who's Leaving? 2024/25 version

This isn't a transfer announcement, but FSU is a bad place for White to go when we just hit Florida hard for defensive guys. Not great for us that they potentially have an opportunity to play for the coach that recruited them here but in their home state. Hoping he wasn't the main reason they came here, but it would honestly be pretty surprising if we we able to keep all the Florida guys.
FSU also has to get to 105.  So they can’t just take a bunch of unproven/semiproven young guys from Nebraska. They are going to be looking for impact players.

That’s a great point. Also worth noting FSU has had higher rated classes than us for some time now and not like they have a bunch of scrubs sitting over there

Shaping up like when Curt Cignetti (google him) made the move from JMU. to Indiana and brought 13 of his players with him. Immediate future looking pretty bleak for DONU. This was the year we needed to make a big move and gain some major momentum and ended up falling flat on our faces.

I doubt Gbayor makes a bigger NIL salary anywhere else. But it could just be that these guys love Tony White and can't see themselves being here anymore if he's gone.
Agree about the $$$.  And there is nothing (so far) indicating Dvoracek (who has done a good job IMO) is leaving.

But 50 guys are going to leave.  They all have their own reasons.  And some will hurt more than others.

At linebacker? Please name 2 of them better than Gbayor. Especially when we lose Wright, Thompson, Gbayor, & Bullock. Shavers is just a pup but hasn’t proven anything.
McGee, Shavers & Princewell.  I will stand by my accessment that lbs were our weakness section of the def.  Our younger guys were also getting more playing time by the end of the year.  Writing was on the wall
