Not surprising, but I really wish we could have seen him play some.Unfortunate, but also not super surprising.

I’m assuming he stayed cause of how late raiola decided to switch and commit to us in the recruiting cycle. Wasn’t it just a few days before signing day last year? DK prolly didn’t have solid options at that point. We all knew he was never going to overtake DR in the first place. I was more shocked he stayed committed than to him leaving.
He's a Sr & is dating Harper. Don't see him leaving.0% chance of him ever playing unless Dylan leaves or gets hurt
Hope HH doesn’t follow suit
This one sucks more, but given the playing time breakdown also not really a surprise.
I'm pretty sure I saw the number at 130 at one point but not sure how reliable that number was. I see many numbers and none are ever the same but they are all in that 130 range +/- 5-10 depending on the source.Pardon me if this has been answered somewhere. I briefly looked and didn't find it.
Exactly, how many were on the roster this year?
If we got rid of all walk-ons, how many would that be? This is a tough one because some of the "walk-ons" weren't really because they were on NIL deals.
That then gives us at least an idea of how many scholarship players are going to leave to get to 105 after we add in the recruiting class.
Then, if that number gets below 105, that's how many transfers we can pick up.
I currently am totally lost on the numbers.
And, I had seen a number of times that 40-50 players needed to be cut/leave. We are at 22 commitments....hoping to get a couple more.I'm pretty sure I saw the number at 130 at one point but not sure how reliable that number was. More, like 140 some. Mav shared a spread sheet that listed the players, including commits.I'm pretty sure I saw the number at 130 at one point but not sure how reliable that number was. So, if the number is 130, is that the number after all the seniors are gone? If so, 130+22=152. 152-105=47 players need to be cut.
So far, we have (I think) 7 that have announced publically.

That is a lot of roster turnover for a team that went 6-6 during the season.Quick back of the envelope math...
Right now, Huskers.com shows 150 on the roster (that includes the 7 or so that have entered the portal in the last 48 hours, does not include Coleman)
19 are listed as Seniors, so assume they are out of eligibility.
So that leaves 131.
7 (???) have entered the portal.
Down to 124.
We are signing 19 (?) freshmen tomorrow.
Back up to 143.
So need to lose 38 more to get to 105. And then for every transfer we bring in we need to lose an additional player.
